FORT LAUDERDALE, FL—Aero Mechanical, a New Mexico-based supplier of aerospace maintenance services, is opening a new division in Hollywood, FL. The firm just inked a seven-year lease on 38,355 square feet at 3901 Southwest 30th Avenue in the Port 95 Commerce Park.

“We see this expansion as an opportunity to better serve our East Coast, Latin American and European customers,” says Rodney Doss, co-founder of Aero Mechanical. “We believe the world-class facility provided by CBRE and Prologis plus the addition of 125 to 150 aviation maintenance professionals to the AMI family over the next five years, will give our customers a vendor they will be proud of.”

The Fort Lauderdale-based team of CBRE industrial brokers who arranged the lease on behalf of Prologis included vice president Tom O'Loughlin, senior vice president Harry Tangalakis and associate Larry Genet. According to CBRE Research, this is the third aerospace company to either relocate to or expand in South Florida since the beginning of the year.
