HOUSTON-Within days of the Braun Enterprises' buy of the 10-story, 78,843-square-foot Great Jones Building, and the mixed-use, 29,036-square-foot McCrory Building, the new owner has tapped Boxer Property to manage and lease both properties.

The Great Jones Building, at 708 Main St. and McCrory Building at 1004 Prairie St. total more than 110,000 square feet and are located in the CBD. The Great Jones Building offers secure elevator access; a street level restaurant and is close to the tunnel system. The theater district and popular restaurants are within walking distance to McCrory Building.

Boxer Property has also been hired to lease and manage the 113,273-square-foot Westwood Plaza at 9301 Southwest Fwy. Westwood Plaza is near the Westchase District & the Galleria/West Loop submarkets and offers freeway frontage access

John McAllister, Boxer's asset manager, negotiated the agreements on behalf of Boxer Property.

Delaware Nadler Co. LLC has sold the 139-unit Country Gables at 15010 N. 59th Ave. for $6.5 million. Cliff David, Steve Gebing and Rich Butler with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services represented the seller.

TEXAS

El Paso

The 102-room Wyndham El Paso at 6351 Gateway Blvd. West has changed hands. Jake Gaddy and Allan Miller with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services represented the seller, a private investor. Chris Gomes, also with Marcus & Millichap also represented the buyer, who plans to spend additional capital to renovate and upgrade the property.

Houston

Mark Bufalini sold 26,400 square feet of land at 506 Yale St. Christopher Dray of Moody Rambin represented the seller. Robert Downs of Robert Downs Properties represented the Buyer, E & I Investments Inc., which plans to build a retail strip center on the site.

Mesquite

DBM Services LP purchased 10,800 square feet of office space at 3111 Executive Blvd. Chris Stout and Joe Whitmer with Transwestern represented the purchaser.

San Antonio

The 128-unit Sutter's Mill at 11955 Parliament Dr. has sold Moses Siller, Scott Lamontagne and Will Balthrope with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services represented the seller, an individual/personal trust and the buyer, a limited liability company.

  • Ben Klutts and Oscar Rincones expanded their real estate and credit repair office to 2,515 square feet at the Chase Bank Building, 3200 Broadway Ave. Beaux Riley with SCM Real Estate Services represented the landlord in this transaction.
  • Riley also represented the landlord in negotiating a lease with SFMC, a mortgage company, which expanded its space to 1,079 square feet at 3200 Broadway Ave.

  • Rena Chappell has re-joined Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. as a senior leasing agent in the firm's investor services group. She returns to C&W following four years of working with Fults Commercial where she focused on landlord representation as a member of the leasing team for Comerica Bank Tower. The Woodlands

  • Sara Sullivan has been hired by Benchmark Hospitality International as vice president, owner advisory group, for the company's asset management business. Sullivan previously held the dual titles of vice president of real estate investment and asset management and vice president corporate finance for Sage Hospitality Resources of Denver. She also served as vice president of corporate finance and director of financial planning and analysis for East West Partners of Vail, CO. Sullivan is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where she earned her Master of Business Administration degree. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
