HOUSTON-Oil City has seen some reshuffling of personnel, with Kennedy Wilson's and Cassidy Turley's local office bringing industry veterans on board.

Kennedy Wilson

Joe LaFico has joined Kennedy Wilson as managing director of operations and asset management in the firm's Houston office. In his new position, LaFico will be assisting a team of property and asset managers in evaluating, operating and managing various types of third party assets for a wide variety of clients in his new position. LaFico, who will be working with regional managing director Doug Hause, will oversee transactional work including special asset and REO services as well as extensive capital project and tenant improvement construction and development supervision.

Prior to joining U.S. Bank, LaFico was the department head of OREO at FBOP Corporation, a national bank holding company acquired by US Bank in 2009. During the time spent at FBOP, LaFico's projects included the redevelopments of three office buildings where his team received two BOMA (Toby) Awards and one NAIOP Award of Excellence.

LaFico received his a bachelor's degree of business administration in marketing and management and a minor in accounting from Texas State University. He holds a real estate broker's license in the state of Texas and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.

Cassidy Turley

John Pruitt and Jessica Ochoa formerly with CBRE, have joined Cassidy Turley as executive managing director and senior vice president, respectively and will help lead the firm's office project leasing practice.

Pruitt and Ochoa were executive vice president and vice president, respectively, at CBRE. Pruitt brings to Cassidy Turley 28 years of experience in metro Houston office leasing, and, while at CBRE, successfully closed more than 3,500 office lease transactions with an aggregate value of more than $1.5 billion. He is a member of the Houston Board of Realtors, Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Designation (SIOR). He graduated a magna cum laude from the University of Houston

Ochoa specialized in the marketing and leasing of office properties at CBRE and was responsible for a portfolio encompassing 2.5 million square feet in the Houston metro area for both redevelopment projects and speculative office developments. Ochoa is a graduate from the University of Houston and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.

Patrick Rollins and Joseph Smith have also joined Cassidy Turley as senior vice presidents to the Houston industrial brokerage team. The duo came from CBRE, where they were first vice presidents. In their new jobs, the Rollins and Smith will work with senior managing director John Nicholson in boosting Cassidy Turley's industrial brand.
