LAS VEGAS-Voit Real Estate Services' Las Vegas office is continuing to expand in the greater Las Vegas market with the addition of Michael Koontz, a new real estate manager, according to Rob Cord, Managing Director of Voit's Real Estate Management Services.

In his new position with Voit, Koontz will be working with the existing management and leasing team for clients in the Las Vegas market. These responsibilities include leasing negotiations, document preparation, budgeting and financial analysis for all product types including office, industrial and retail. He will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities for the company in the Nevada market.

Koontz has an extensive background in commercial property management in both the Las Vegas and California markets. In California, Koontz worked at The Irvine Company, Majestic Management Co. and Davis Partners, LLC, where he gained experience as a property manager overseeing industrial and office properties in California, Utah and Nevada. After relocating to Las Vegas in 2005, Koontz began working for FKC Properties as a property manager where he managed over 700,000 square feet of commercial property. In addition, he was responsible for acquiring over 150,000 square feet of assets in two years.
