HAMBURG, GERMANY-Bent Muehlena has been named the new head of the Real Estate Project Management department at Hamburg-based Union Investment Real Estate GmbH. The move was to be effective Sept. 1.

The 45-year-old Muehlena who holds a degree in engineering, takes over for Bernd Schade, who is joining department store group Breuninger.
