Retail Connections Readies for 700,000-SF Shopping Center

DALLAS-The company's development arm, Connected Development Services and partner the Kroenke Group are hosting a Sept. 17 groundbreaking for Village at Cumberland Park in Tyler, TX.

DALLAS-Economic growth and stronger infrastructure in Tyler, TX have prompted locally based Retail Connections and its partner, the Kroenke Group, to develop the 700,000-square-foot Village at Cumberland Park. On Sept. 17, the partners, along with representatives from Retail Connections’ development arm Connected Development Services, will host a ceremonial groundbreaking for the project, which already has commitments from national credit tenants for space.

Village at Cumberland Park will be at the northeast quadrant of Broadway Avenue (US 69) and the recently completed Loop 49. Situated on 80 acres, the development will have 12 main buildings leased to retailers, restaurants, entertainment and service providers. Also on tap will be a central park, complete with a playground. Dignitaries at the event will include Barbara R. Bass, Mayor of Tyler, and Mark McDaniel, City Manager, as well as members of the City Council and staff.  Architects Hodges & Associates and Contractor Hill & Wilkinson, along with the land seller, Bob Garrett, will be recognized at the ceremonial event.
