Texas Continues Atop the Rankings

AUSTIN-Site consultants tell Area Development that the Lone Star State number one for its business environment and labor climate. Texas is tied for second place in infrastructure as Tennessee takes the top spot.

AUSTIN-Area Development has issued its fourth annual Top States for Doing Business survey of site consultants – and Texas is atop the list. Among those consultants surveyed, Texas scored number one in the areas of business environment, labor climate and most mentioned by respondents, while being tied for second in overall infrastructure and global access.
