SAN DIEGO-The ConAm Group of Companies, a San Diego-based real estate investment and services firm, says that Brad Forrester has resigned as chief executive officer effective at the end of the year. Founder and chairman Dan Epstein will assume his duties until a replacement has been named and will remain Chairman. Korn/Ferry International has been retained to lead the search.
Forrester joined ConAm in 1994 and has served as president and CEO for the past eight years.
"My time with ConAm has been the highlight of my professional career; and, I am deeply indebted to Dan, our senior management team and all ConAm associates for their support over the years. I leave knowing that the company has many great years of success ahead", said Forrester.
"Brad has provided outstanding leadership to ConAm during his almost 20 years of service", said Epstein. "The ConAm group has grown to be one of the premier providers of real estate services under his guidance. We have an excellent foundation and track record and are committed to continued growth. I know Brad will be successful in whatever he chooses to do going forward."
The ConAm Group is among the largest multifamily property managers in the United States with nearly 50,000 apartments under management. The firm has developed an outstanding client and investor base over the years and continues its commitment to active acquisition and development of apartment communities across the country.
