HOUSTON-The Houston Business Journal reports that Harris Methodist (the region's third-largest healthcare system) has struck a deal with Christus Health Gulf Coast to acquire two hospitals. Upon finalization of the deal, Harris Methodist will take control of Christus St. Catherine, at 701 S. Fry Rd. in Katy and Christus St. John at 18300 Hospital Blvd. in Nassau Bay.
HBJ also reports that the deal will include Christus clinics in Katy and Nassau Bay. The transaction is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Financial details were not immediately available.
