Hall Hosts Groundbreaking on MXU Development

DALLAS-On Sept. 18, the developer celebrated the official start of construction on its Hall Arts commercial real estate project in the Arts District. Phase one of the three-phased project was launched Sept. 16.

DALLAS-Craig Hall and Hall Financial Group launched the ceremonial groundbreaking of its mixed-use Hall Arts project, located in the Arts District. The event took place Sept. 18, just two days after the real work on the project’s first phase began.

Phase one involves structural work underground in the Hall Arts parking garage. The initial phase also includes construction of a 450,000-square-foot, class A office building at 2323 Ross Ave. The building is being anchored by KPMG, which has signed a deal to take down 150,000 square feet for its Dallas headquarters. As such, the building is dubbed KMPG Plaza. Other tenants taking place upon the building’s completion in 2015 include UMB Bank (6,000 square feet); Jackson Walker LLP (104,000 square feet) and a Stephan Pyles restaurant. Hall Financial Group will also take space at Hall Arts in 2015 – the company’s corporate headquarters is currently at Hall Office Park in Frisco, TX.
