FORT WORTH-A new six-story hotel, accompanied by an office building is being planned for the city's Cultural District.

Construction could begin early next year according to a report in the Star-Telegram. Plans call for the new 156-room hotel along Camp Bowie Boulevard, near the Modern Art Museum. It would be an expansion of the 12-acre Museum Place, a residential, office and retail development.

Plans alslo include a six-story, 90,000-square-foot office building, sources told the Star-Telegram. Dallas-based Gatehouse Capital is said to be the lead developer for the hotel project.
