HOUSTON-Shortly after completing the 301,832-square-foot 3009 Post Oak Boulevard office building, developer Skanska USA has sold the asset to Post Oak Building LLC. The class A office building is Skanska USA's first completed commercial real estate project in Houston.
In addition, it was announced that specialty tax services alliantgroup will lease 200,000 square feet for its national headquarters. Skanska also recently signed a 12,800-square-foot lease with Becker Interests LP and Base Entertainment, which will occupy the 12th floor. The leases, along with tenants Datacert and Skanska USA, bring the Galleria property to an occupancy of 92%.
The development is a pre-certified LEED Platinum building. Skanska had acquired the site on which to develop in 2010. “This project demonstrates our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable office buildings that provide long-term value for investors and healthy, efficient space for tenants,” says Mats Johansson, CEO of Skanska Commercial Property Development USA.
