SAN JOSE, CA-Colliers International Inc. has added Bob Cook as senior vice president, of strategic planning in the corporate services Silicon Valley division. Cook will help corporate users of real estate understand their real estate needs and craft financial and strategic plans to satisfy those needs.

During his three-decade career, Cook has held key real estate strategy positions with Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Northrop Grumman, JDSU and Apollo Group. He has also worked as a real estate consultant with Grubb & Ellis, where he was SVP of corporate services, and as a real estate developer with Rubloff Inc. where he was vice president of new projects.

In addition, he has been a senior fellow at the National University of Singapore where he taught real estate development and consulted with international companies expanding into Asia.

“I'm looking forward to helping companies manage the challenges of accommodating growth and change,” states Cook. “As markets tighten up, there aren't going to be easy solutions to things like consolidating operations, and that's where I can really help.”
