NRP Unveils Details Of LUXX Revamp

SAN ANTONIO—The firm is investing more than $33 million in substantial upgrades to the 15-acre compound near the University of Texas at San Antonio.

SAN ANTONIO—Developer, general contractor and property manager NRP Group has is working on substantial upgrades to the University of Texas at San Antonio. The firm is investing more than $33 million in a 15-acre off-campus student housing compound at UTSA and Utex Boulevards, less than a quarter of a mile from the main campus. The development should be ready for students to move in August 2014.

Dubbed LUXX, the community has a sleek, modern design and offers 694 beds in a mix of one- two- and four-bedrooms among 220 units.
