NORWOOD, NJ-RainMen USA Inc., a manufacturer and importer of high-quality umbrellas, will move into more than 52,000 square feet at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises' industrial complex here. RainMen signed a long-term lease and will relocate from Northvale.
Mitch Helfman of MRH Real Estate Services represented Alfred Sanzari in the deal. Hal Lichtenstein of Cassidy Turley represented the tenant.
The six-building complex is located at 335, 355, 375 and 385 Chestnut Street, and 10 and 50 Maple Street.
RainMen will consolidate from its current two-building operation into one building at 10 Maple Street, increasing its footprint by 15,000 square feet, according to Frank C. Pratt of Sanzari.
“The Norwood portfolio represents some of the best industrial space in Bergen County,” said Pratt. Hackensack-based Sanzari will be making building improvements to suit RainMen's requirements, he said.
RainMen makes umbrellas and accessories for the promotional products industry. The company is known for its folding, golf, fashion and outdoor umbrellas, as well as pop-up tents, outdoor furniture, portable chairs and other tailgating merchandise.
Alfred Sanzari Enterprises' Norwood industrial portfolio is located near the Palisades Interstate Parkway; Route 9W; the New York State Thruway; and George Washington and Tappan Zee bridges.
