Champion Realty Becomes Fischer & Co.

CHICAGO—J.D. Salazar founded Champion Realty Advisors, LLC in 1997 and went on to represent some of the region’s largest real estate companies including ProLogis and First Industrial Realty Trust. His firm has now become Fischer & Company – Chicago and he will assume the title of executive vice president, managing director. Fischer is a Dallas-based company with seven offices nationwide and plans to expand the Chicago office under Salazar with brokers focusing on industrial, office and retail.

Salazar has represented Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, a Tennessee-based 3PL, in their acquisition of more than 3,000,000-square-feet of space in the Chicago area; represented Kellogg’s in a build-to-suit 1,034,000-square-foot regional distribution center; and the Gillette Company in a build-to-suit 532,000-square-foot distribution center.
