UNION CITY, CA-Cushman & Wakefield recently represented Hearst Communications, Inc., a division of the Hearst Corporation, in the sale of 1550 Pacific Street, a former San Francisco Chronicle printing plant here. Executive director John McManus and associate director Andrew Briner of Cushman & Wakefield's Oakland office finalized the transaction on September 18.

Terms have not been disclosed. The building is 163,221 sq. ft. located on a 16.34-acre site off Interstate 880 in Union City.

The buyer, Westcore Properties, San Diego, was represented by Colliers International.
