CHICAGO—Millennium Properties R/E has just hired Chet Evans as its new vice president. The firm says Evans will use his 10 years of commercial real estate experience to expand Millennium's property management and brokerage services.

Previously, Evans worked as a commercial portfolio manager for Equity Residential and as a leasing broker for M&J Wilkow. Since 2004, he has completed more than 50 lease transactions and conducted underwriting and due diligence for the acquisitions of more than 40 commercial properties nationwide. Evans has also acted as an investment principal, purchasing and managing a portfolio of multi-family, office, and retail properties.

We are very pleased that Chet has joined our firm to aid in the expansion of our property management and brokerage service,” says Daniel J. Hyman, president of Millennium Properties. “His extensive knowledge of residential and commercial markets, transactional expertise and property management skills will be a great asset as we expand our service lines.”

Founded in 1996, Millennium has completed more than $4.3 billion in sales and presently manages about 2.5-million-square-feet of space throughout the Chicago area, including industrial, office, retail and multifamily properties.
