HOUSTON-Quasar Navigation Ltd. acquired a 302,800-square-foot, multitenant industrial warehouse building in Houston's Downtown Eastside Industrial submarket. The buyer, represented by Clay Prichett of NAI Houston, struck the deal with Levey Group, operating under the entity name GSL Navigation SUB 34 LLC. The facility, situated on 21.5 acres at 6501 Navigation, made the news last summer when Crane Worldwide Logistics signed an expansion lease for 150,000 square feet. At the time, the local media reported that the property itself was undergoing a major redevelopment, which included razing some of the buildings on site and selling 10 acres to Centerpoint Energy.
