Midtown East and Midtown South are getting a lot of attention these days, but Midtown West is about to get its share of the spotlight. It's slated to gain approximately 25 million square feet of office space, brining in 120, 000 people every day, said Phillip Wharton, SVP of US development, Brookfield Office Properties. But activity is expected in Brooklyn and Queens too, as land prices in Manhattan are cost-prohibitive.
