AURORA, CO-Rida Development Corp. has selected HKS Architects and Mortenson Construction for the Gaylord Rockies Hotel and Conference Center, according to a report in the Denver Post.

Welbro Building Corp., based in Maitland, Fla., which has worked with Rida, will assist Mortenson.

The project represents an investment that could total $800 million, and will result in a center with 1,500 rooms and 400,000 square feet of meeting space—the state's largest hotel.
