ROSEVILLE, CA-A public-private project near Sacramento that was placed on the back burner five years is being presented by a with a new developer, and it is designed to provide land for a satellite campus of California State University Sacramento.

Placer Ranch, which is made up of 2,200 acres along the northern edge of Roseville within Placer County's Sunset Industrial Area, was bought by Westpark Communities from former owner who had first proposed development in 2008. This according to a report in the Sacramento Business Journal.

The Journal quoted Westpark CEO Jeff Jones about the proposed mixed-use development.
