MIAMI-Harry G. Tangalakis, a senior vice president at CBRE, is getting a big pat on the back from his colleagues. The industrial real estate agent recently took home the highest honor bestowed on a CBRE industrial services professional in the Americas: The Dave Haggerty Leadership Award.
The award is a tribute to a Haggerty, a CBRE industrial professional who passed away. It is presented each year to an industrial services professional with the passion, dedication and teamwork that Haggerty brought to CBRE during his career.
“Harry is more than one of our top industrial brokers in South Florida-he is loyal, generous, enthusiastic, hard-working and active in charitable organizations in his community,” says Mary Jo Eaton, executive managing Director at CBRE Florida. Tangalakis is involved several charities including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Boys & Girls Club, St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, and CBRE Cares.
Tangalakis is a 32-year CBRE veteran and one of the top industrial brokers in South Florida. He joined CBRE's industrial division in Fort Lauderdale in 1981, and over the years, has earned the reputation as an honest, hard-working and thoughtful person who is an expert at achieving maximum results for each and every client.
Tangalakis has been involved in almost 8 million square feet of lease transactions and about 6 million square feet of building sales. He has sold or leased over 400 acres of industrial land for an aggregate transaction value of nearly $750 million.
