HOUSTON-A recent report issued by the Texas Association of Realtors pointed out that the Lone Star State has experienced a net gain of households. The Texas Relocation Report says that 10,326 more households are moving into Texas than Texas households are moving to other states.

Of all the counties, Harris County (of which Houston is the county seat), was ranked number one in the state and number three in the nation for mobility. The county experienced an inflow of 67,299 households. On the other end, Harris County also ranked first in Texas and third in the US for outflow of households at 65,395.

The report follows on the heels of last spring's U-Haul report, which named Texas the number two growth state in 2012 and Houston as the nation's top relocation city.
