Developer Says Celebrity Chef to Establish Ground Floor Restaurant at NEMA

SAN FRANCISCO–Chef Suvir Saran's restaurant marks NEMA's first tenant for ground-level commercial space.

SAN FRANCISCO–NEMA, a Crescent Heights Inspired Community on the corner of 10th and Market Streets in San Francisco’s Mid-Market neighborhood, says that acclaimed chef, cookbook author and educator Suvir Saran has become its first signed commercial tenant, leasing 8,500 square feet of NEMA’s closely watched 13,500 square feet of ground-level, commercial space.

The yet-to-be-named restaurant, Saran’s first venture on the West Coast, is being created specifically for San Franciscans and is slated to open in Spring 2014.
