CULVER CITY, CA-HQ Development Group has completed major renovations of a three-building creative office campus at 9950 Jefferson Blvd in Culver City. Architecture firm Shubin+Donaldsonpartnered with the development company to design the building, which was a former manufacturing facility.
"We love how the 9950 Jefferson property turned out,” says Robert Herscu, CEO of HQ Development Group. “Our tenants are extremely happy to be working in such a high-end creative space."
The building has a total of 20,000 square feet of office space and features unique, 3,000- to 11,000-square-foot floor plans with exposed ceilings, glass and metal accents and wood floors. Tech start-up Scopely occupies the largest building and HSI Productions occupies the remaining two buildings.
“We put a lot of thought and dollars into the design and finishes of the campus,” says Herscu. “We wanted it to be a place where the tenants could work and at the same time have fun.”
Garden architect Jay Griffith designed the beautifully manicured exterior grounds. The property is located near a vehicle charging station and an outdoor park with seating.
GlobeSt.com recently reported the construction of another creative office campus in El Segundo, CA, from Mar Ventures. The 15-building property will target both creative and non-creative companies with a variety of creative-style spaces and collaborative work environments.
