MIAMI—Privé Developers, LLC, led by co-developers BH3 and Gary Cohen, are forging ahead with new condos on South Florida's last buildable private island. The City of Aventura has issued a Preliminary Site Plan Approval for Privé.

“This is a major achievement for us towards bringing the project to fruition and we are grateful to the City of Aventura and its officials for their support of our efforts,” says Cohen. “We are now looking forward to the next step, which is the completion of our official sales center, scheduled to open on the island in November 2013.”

Designed by renowned architects Sieger Suarez, Privé's twin towers will rise 16-stories above the eight-acre north island between Williams Island and Sunny Isles Beach. The project includes 160 condos rangingin size from 2,585 square feet to more than 9,000 square feet in penthouse units. Each condo will offer a private elevator entry, 10-foot glass on both eastern and western exposures, 10-foot deep balconies, east/west water views, European kitchens and bathrooms, as well as outdoor summer kitchens.
