RICHARDSON, TX-KDC has commenced construction on a 260,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility for AdvoCare International, with completion scheduled for July 2014. The facility will have 235,000 square feet of single-story warehouse space, with 25,000 square feet dedicated to two-story office space.
KDC is developing and managing construction of the new AdvoCare office and warehouse project. AdvoCare owns the 35-acres of land and the future facility, which is located at 2800 Telecom Pkwy.
AdvoCare, a health and wellness company, will use the new warehouse facility for light manufacturing and product assembly. More than 100 employees will office at the new facility, while approximately 150 employees will continue to be based at the corporate headquarters, 2801 Summit Ave. in Plano, TX.
“This new facility will accommodate our significant growth in recent years, and allow us to serve our distributors more efficiently moving forward,” says Reid Ward, COO for AdvoCare International.
Azimuth: Architecture is the project designer for the new facility and McFadden & Miller is the general contractor. Kacy Jones with CBRE represented Advocare during the transaction.
