CHICAGO—DTZ, a UGL Co., has promoted from within by naming a longtime employee, Executive Vice President Todd Mintz, as the new co-managing director in the Chicago office. Mintz will share leadership responsibilities with Executive Vice President Christopher Wood. DTZ's Chicago brokerage operation includes 48 brokers plus administrative support staff.

Mintz, 47, has been with DTZ since 1990 and has helped build the local and national brokerage business. In addition to participating in the DTZ corporate leadership team, he has served as an account manager or single point of contact for a number of DTZ portfolio clients.

Mintz holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and he attended the Executive Management Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.

“Todd has been a long time leader of the firm on multiple fronts, and now is the right time for him to get engaged in this important new role. Together with Chris Wood, Todd will focus on driving superior client service into all of our engagements and managing the rapid growth of the Chicago brokerage business,” commented Greg Schementi, executive vice president and head of US Occupier Services/Tenant Representation.
