Equity Residential Relocates Regional HQ to SOMA After Archstone Deal

SAN FRANCISCO-Firm owns and operates more than 13,216 for-lease residential units in the Bay Area, with more than 3,100 additional in various stages of development.

SAN FRANCISCO-Equity Residential recently opened a new 5,000 square-foot regional headquarters at 333 Third Street in the SOMA District.

The move was announced by John Hyjer, first VP, investments for equity residential. The firm says the lease highlights its long-term commitment to the region, and provides a central location from which to develop and manage its growing property portfolio.
