Tutor Perini Wins $61M Hotel Contract

SYLMAR, CA-The Sylmar-based firm will convert a 31-story office building in New Orleans to a hotel with mixed-income apartments.

SYLMAR, CA-Tutor Perini Corporation says its subsidiary Roy Anderson Corp., has been hired by HRI Properties to construct the 225 Baronne Mixed-Use Development Project in New Orleans. The development will include luxury apartments and a hotel. The contract is valued at $61.3 million.

The project involves the conversion of an existing 31-story office building into a mixed-use development that will consist of 192 apartment units of mixed-income housing, a 188-room hotel, and a 356-space public parking garage.
