PLANO, TX-William Hendrickson, age 38, has been named to Real Estate Forum's 45-Under-40 list. Hendrickson is director, investments for Granite Properties.

He was promoted to his current position with Granite Properties (an office developer and owner) in 2011. His duties include leading and coordinating sourcing and executing underwriting, financial analysis and due diligence of investment activities in Texas, Colorado and Georgia.

Since joining Granite in 2003, Hendrickson has been involved with $1.5 billion in transactions, leading the company's further inroads into the Dallas and Denver markets and increasing underwriting volume. Hendrickson also led the strategic divestment of the company's industrial portfolio in 2010, which involved 18 Texas properties totaling three million square feet. This portfolio sold over five deals and closed by the end of 2011.

Hendrickson received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University and his Master of Science Degree in Real Estate from The Johns Hopkins University-Carey Business School. He's an associate council member with the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
