LONG BEACH-Primex Agriculture Services has signed a lease for a 104,737-square-foot space at California State University, Long Beach Technology Park, GlobeSt.com reports in this exclusive story. The company signed a 5-year lease for the space located at 2200-2250 Technology Place in Long Beach.

“Our facility being located in the Heavy Weight Corridor and its close proximity to the Ports were the drivers for Primex to lease our property,” says Gregory Gill, SIOR, CCIM with Lee & Associates, who represented the landlord in the transaction along with Lee & Associates' Garrett Massaro and Brandon Carrillo. “Receiving multiple offers, seeing improving market conditions and limited supply of large class-A buildings in the Heavy Weight Corridor, Watt Companies and CSULB were pleased with the work of Lee & Associates in locating a new tenant after the void left by DAMCO.”

As Gill mentioned, DAMCO Distribution formerly occupied the space, and vacated earlier this year. The class-A property is attractive both because of building amenities and the Heavy Weight Corridor location near the Port of Long Beach and Los Angeles. Primex Agriculture Services will be using the ports to export alfalfa products to China and Asia Pacific countries. Jones Lang LaSalle's Zac Sakowski and Barry Hill represented the tenant.

In other leasing news, Riot Games recently signed a record-breaking lease for 284,000 square feet of creative office space at the Element LA office campus currently under construction. The lease was the largest office lease signed in the last 5 years.
