WEST OAHU, HI-Developer Forest City Hawaii plans to erect a $140 million, 499-unit mixed-use rental asset, near the Foodland-anchored Kapolei Village Center, according to a report in Pacific Business News.

The project, will includes one-, two- and three-bedroom units, ranging in price from $1,250 per month to $3,200 per month, with 20 different types of units, a company executive told the news site.

The project is expected to begin construction in the first quarter and to take about two years to complete, he said. A local zoning board committee plans to consider the project and others at its meeting tonight.
