NEW YORK CITY-Cushman & Wakefield has hired Justin Royce, a former VP at CBRE, as a senior director. He will join the commercial leasing team led by executive vice chairman Tara Stacom.

Royce brings more than a decade of experience in real estate deal-making. During his 10-year tenure at CBRE, he worked to execute an array of commercial real estate transactions totaling in excess of 2.8 million square feet with an aggregate value of over $1 billion.

“We're proud to bring a brokerage professional of Justin's caliber to an already strong team in New York, and we're looking forward to his contributing substantial value to our clients,” says Ron Lo Russo, president of Cushman's New York tri-state region. “We anticipate Justin being a highly valuable asset and I'm proud to have a broker with his integrity and character join the firm.”

Royce has represented some of New York City's biggest commercial landlords, including American Realty Capital, MetLife and SL Green Realty Trust. Other major clients have included Ally Financial, Cerberus Capital Management, Herman Miller and Titan.

“Given Justin's track record and having worked personally with him on transactions, I know he will add great synergism to the team,” adds Stacom. “Given the multitude of major projects we're currently involved with, and the exciting new opportunities that are continually presenting themselves, we're especially pleased to welcome Justin's talent and experience.”
