Server Farm Buys Oak Brook Data Center

CHICAGO—The 194,178-square-foot complex went for more than $16 million but was 66% leased.

CHICAGO—California-based Server Farm Realty, Inc. has just bought the Oak Brook Technology Center from an undisclosed seller. The sale was brokered by Transwestern’s Chicago office. The 194,178-square-foot, two-building office complex is located at 800 and 810 Jorie Blvd. in suburban Oak Brook, and was purchased for $16,250,000. The property was 66% leased at the time of sale.

“Oak Brook Technology Center drew very strong interest from data center investors,” says Gary Nussbaum, managing director of Transwestern. “The property offers access to an enormous quantity of fiber, communications providers and electrical service which meet the demands of a first class data center facility.”
