CARLSTADT, NJ-Cathay Home has signed a 20,000-square-foot lease at the Gotham Industrial Park here, in a deal arranged by NAI James E. Hanson.
The company took a long-term lease to use the space as a warehouse and distribution facility for its linens and bedding manufacturing business, which is headquartered in New York City.
NAI Hanson's Jeffrey W. DeMagistris, Thomas A. Vetter and Nicholas Herrick represented the tenant in the transaction.
“While the Meadowlands submarket continues to tighten, we're pleased to have the opportunity to pair this company with such an ideal warehouse space,” said the company's senior vice-presiden Robert P. Rubin.
“Once we identified the correct facility, we were able to proceed with a speedy transaction that will have Cathay Home's first distribution center up and running in no time,” he said.
