WALNUT CREEK, CA-Transwestern has added Anna Mcquillan Rose to the firm as vice president of healthcare advisory services, based in Walnut Creek, CA. Active in commercial real estate for more than 15 years, Rose will specialize in the leasing and sale of medical properties in the greater Silicon Valley and East Bay areas on behalf of real estate owners, hospitals and healthcare tenants.

Prior to joining Transwestern, Rose was the director of sales and leasing with the Borelli Investment Co. In that position, she was most recently responsible for Club Auto Sport, a 120,000-square-foot commercial condominium community in north San Jose, CA, where she sold an aggregate of 88,000 square feet of condos and leased the balance to close out the development. Prior to Club Auto Sport, Rose served as leasing agent for Borelli's diverse 3 million-square-foot Silicon Valley portfolio.

“We are thrilled to welcome Anna to our continually growing and diversifying team,” explains Edward Del Beccaro, managing director of Transwestern's East Bay office. “The Bay Area's healthcare real estate sector is among those we have identified for significant growth, and Anna's connections and knowledge will help guide that growth at Transwestern. We're fortunate to have her.”

Originally a broker associate at Re/Max Assoc.'s commercial division in Contra Costa County, Rose focused on tenant representation, serving major corporate clients that included Jack in the Box and KinderCare. Her work in Silicon Valley began in 2008, when she joined the Regus Group as the broker manager, where she oversaw the leasing of the firm's 11 business centers in the Bay Area.

Rose is an active member of the San Jose Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers. She is currently a board member of the Silicon Valley chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women, and she serves as the 2014 president-elect of the local Building Owners and Managers Association.
