LOS ANGELES-Tecolote Research is relocating its regional headquarters from Manhattan Beach to El Segundo. In this exclusive story, GlobeSt.com reports the company has completed a lease transaction with Rockwood Capital and Marshall Property & Development for a 22,626-square-foot office space at Campus 2100.
El Segundo is one of the fastest growing office markets in Los Angeles and is known for attracting creative firms, according to Jason Fine, VP at Jones Lang LaSalle, who represented the tenant in the transaction. Although Tecolote Research isn’t a creative industry, they still aim to benefit from a base in the South Bay. “They are very familiar with El Segundo and wanted to be closer to their business partners and clients,” Fine tells GlobeSt.com. “They wanted a new, creative campus environment, but their space is not all open. They have a private office configuration; however, this floor plate was more efficient and they have more areas for collaboration such as conference rooms and a new kitchen and lounge area.”
