CHICAGO—McShane Construction Company has just promoted Mathew R. Dougherty, from vice president to executive vice president and regional manager of the firm's headquarters in suburban Rosemont. Dougherty has been with McShane for 14 years and has completed numerous high-profile construction projects. As an EVP and regional manager, Dougherty will manage McShane's project management personnel and support teams, the development and expansion of new business opportunities, and the strategic planning and execution of McShane's growth within the Midwest.

“Dougherty has been an asset to our firm for many years and continues to demonstrate his capabilities as a leader through his dedication to the firm and the assignments that he undertakes,” says Jeffrey A. Since joining McShane in June 2000, Dougherty has worked in a variety of sectors including affordable housing, supportive housing, luxury apartments, hotels and mixed-use complexes. He has handled assignments for clients such as Aramark, Atlantic Realty Partners, Casto Lifestyle Properties, Essex Communities, Lennar Corporation, M & R Development and Trammell Crow Company, among others.
