The new location lends itself to Rock Health's vision of solving healthcare's biggest problems through collaboration and disruptive innovation. Flanked by the UCSF Mission Bay campus, including the UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay and the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, and the California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences (QB3), Rock Health's new headquarters sits at the epicenter of groundbreaking clinical care and translational research. Adjacent to leading biopharmaceutical companies, venture capital firms, and the city's startup hub SoMa, Rock Health is positioned proximate to key stakeholders across multiple disciplines, from technology to life sciences.

“Our new home is the perfect place for our entrepreneurs to gain firsthand insights into the challenges of healthcare providers and the real life experience of patients. Our new Mission Bay location enhances our ability to collaborate and garner even more support and traction for the digital health movement,” says Rock Health CEO Halle Tecco.

Healthcare represents nearly 18% of the US' economy, yet remains one of the last sectors to undergo technology-based transformation. Founded in 2010, Rock Health aims to lower the barriers to innovating in this nearly three trillion dollar industry.

Rock Health funds and supports startups building the next generation of technologies transforming healthcare through its portfolio, public events, and cutting-edge industry research.

“We are thrilled to have Rock Health join Mission Bay's world-class life science and technology cluster,” says Joel Marcus, Chairman, CEO and Founder of Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. “For years, Mission Bay has been at the forefront of life science innovation. With Rock Health's state-of-the-art, highly creative and collaborative new headquarters, immediately proximate to UCSF and its new Center for Digital Health Innovation, Mission Bay has officially become the epicenter of the digital health revolution.
