HOUSTON— Real estate development and investment firm KDC will add a new office in Houston to further their Texas presence. Houston native William Peeples will oversee development and investment opportunities in Houston market.
Peeples focused on Houston development opportunities from KDC's Dallas office. KDC anticipates the new location will allow the company to establish a presence in the market. The company's new office will be located at 1900 West Loop South in the Galleria area.
“I consider it a great honor and privilege to lead KDC's expansion into the Houston market,” said Peeples. “Houston is a dynamic city with a deep roster of very capable and competitive developers, and we're excited to join the ranks. We've already experienced a number of successes in the market and are eager to continue growing our presence.”
KDC developed he 160,000-square-foot Intellicenter in Westway Park in west Houston, Ellington Trade Center, a three-building, 500,000-square-foot industrial project, and two data centers for Digital Realty Trust totaling 112,500 square feet in the Greenspoint submarket.
Peeples joined KDC in 2011 and was previously a commercial real estate lender with Amegy Bank in both Houston and Dallas.
KDC has completed more than 125 office and industrial projects totaling more than 27 million square feet.
