NEW YORK CITY—ALM Real Estate Media Group, the proven industry leader in commercial real estate coverage and events, recently introduced its new Editorial Advisory Board to continue its unparalleled market coverage of the CRE industry. This exclusive group is comprised of the most influential thought leaders from the business and real estate communities. The board brings together some of the market's top economic advisors, investors, developers, brokers, asset managers and finance executives.

“This is more than just an honorary position,” says Michael G. Desiato, vice president of the ALM Real Estate Media Group. “Each board member's role will be critical in providing our readers with the professional insight and wisdom that comes with property specialization and geographic focus.”

Working with the media group's team of journalists and conference producers, the editorial board will assist in identifying industry, regional and market issues affecting commercial real estate. Through direct feedback, focus groups and advisory board discussions, the partnership will provide an invaluable forum for researching and brainstorming ideas, granting an insight seen across all the ALM Real Estate Media Group's platforms.

The members of the editorial advisory board will also engage the GlobeSt.com and Real Estate Forum audience through new articles and features. Joining established industry experts like Jonathan Hipp, Dr. Sam Chandan and Anthony LoPinto, new columns like Dear Ms. Real Estate, from Nina J. Gruen, principal sociologist and co-founder of the market research and analysis firm Gruen Gruen + Associates, will bring a fresh perspective to commercial real estate.

Board members, who all serve two-year terms, will share their candid opinions and provide feedback on the editorial content throughout all of the ALM Read Estate Media Group platforms, including Real Estate Forum, GlobeSt.com and the RealShare Conference Series. They will also participate in surveys and focus groups, as well as the selection of major rankings and competitions in Real Estate Forum, such as Deals of the Year.

Additionally, each month, Forum magazine will feature an “Ask the Advisors” section, which spotlights Advisors' answers to a pressing question related to topics trending in the industry.

With the introduction of the new board, GlobeSt.com has unveiled a corresponding Advisory Board section on the website. The new page will provide a directory of the participants, along with individual biographies and links to articles available on the site.
