PARSIPPANY, NJ – Construction management veteran Alan Zambarano has joined Transwestern as a senior project manager and will help oversee assignments throughout the Northeast, GlobeSt.com has learned.
Zambarano will work closely with Joe Polise, Transwestern's vice president of construction management as the company expands its platform.
“The rapid expansion in the Tri-State area and the Northeast as a whole meant we had to find additional talent to help us implement our strategic vision,” said James Postell, the company's principle in New Jersey. “With his results-driven management style and strong ability to coordinate client details, Alan will be a great asset.”
Zambarano will assist clients from the planning stage to implementation and closeout. His responsibilities will include schedule and budget development and management, as well as providing on-site supervision of projects.
“Alan has a track record of completing 100 percent of his projects on time and on budget,” said Polise. “Alan was my right-hand man for several years at another firm, and I look forward to working with him again on some exciting upcoming projects.”
Zambarano's career in real estate and project management spans more than two decades. He joins Transwestern from Avison Young, where he was a senior project manager for the past six years. Over the past 10 years, he has focused on managing tenant interior renovations and new construction projects. He has extensive experience implementing both tenant improvement
Transwestern established a Tri-State presence in 2011, with offices in Parsippany, New York City and Greenwich, CT. In November 2013, Transwestern acquired Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, a real estate firm based in Boston, establishing Transwestern's 34th U.S. office and significantly strengthening the company's Northeast presence.
Transwestern manages more than 1,300 properties, representing 271 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space.
