SACRMENTO, CA-The owners of two office buildings near the planned downtown arena site have indicated that they plan to redevelop the projects in the near future.

Owners of the office buildings at 555 Capitol Mall in Sacramento are planning convert the properties to a mixed-use project that would be developed in several phases, according to a report in the Sacramento Business Journal, citing a letter sent to city planners.

Rubicon Partners, owners of another building, at 630 K St., also sent a letter to the city, and described early-stage plans they have for redevelopment. That letter reportedly states the plan is for a multiphase redevelopment including a combination of residential, retail, office and other uses.
