PORTLAND, OR-Trammell Crow Company, one of the nation's leading developers and investors in commercial real estate, has welcomed Kirk Olsen as the Portland Business Unit's senior vice president. In this role, he will be primarily responsible for sourcing and overseeing new office, urban, and mixed use development and investment opportunities throughout the Greater Portland market.

“We are pleased to announce the addition of Kirk to the Trammell Crow Company team,” said Steve Wells, senior managing director for Trammell Crow's Portland Unit. “He brings extensive experience and knowledge in development across multiple product types to this new role, which will be beneficial to our business as we continue to aggressively pursue more development and investment opportunities through the Greater Portland area.”

Olsen previously served as partner at Dermody Properties, a national commercial real estate developer, owner, and operator that has produced over 18 million square feet of industrial projects in 12 markets since 2000. Olsen established the company's Portland office in 2007, and oversaw its development, asset management, and disposition activities in the Northwest Region. Prior to 2007, Olsen worked at Dermody's headquarters where he developed business nationally and managed leasing of a 12 million square feet portfolio.
