CHICAGO—Alter Asset Management has just chosen Cynthia S. Milka as its director of new business development-property manager. Milka will handle new client relationships for the company including their headquarters and regional offices.

Previously, she was regional vice president of operations at Invitation Homes, and regional property manager at Keystone Property Group. Milka launched its Chicago and Florida regional offices overseeing more than two million-square-feet of commercial property. In addition, she served as a senior property manager at Trammell Crow Company/CB Richard Ellis where she ran suburban Chicago operations for multiple commercial properties. She has been involved in numerous redevelopment and construction-management projects including the East West Corporate Center in suburban Naperville and the 230,000-square-foot global headquarters for the Career Education Corporation in Schaumburg.

“Cindy joins Alter Asset Management at a time when the firm has grown to become one of the significant multi-region players in the industry,” says Samuel F. Gould, president of AAM. “AAM targets the building owners and assets that fall outside the scope of the multinational firms and the smaller mom-and-pop property managers. We handle the core and value-add properties that need high-touch service and the significant expertise in value creation that only an owner can provide.”

AAM provides third-party property management and leasing services for investors, including Northern Trust Bank, Harrison Street Real Estate, Sentinel Real Estate Corporation, and Washington Capital Management. It also manages The Alter Group's portfolio of office, industrial, and healthcare assets as well as its land holdings.
