SAN FRANCISCO-LaSalle Hotel Properties, Chicago, is under contract to acquire Hotel Vitale on the Embarcadero.

If the $130 million deal goes through, the asset would become LaSalle's 46th hotel and its third in San Francisco, according to Chicago media outlet Loop North News. The announcement was included with preliminary financial results for 2013, the News said.

LaSalle also owns the Hotel Chicago (formerly Hotel Sax) and Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago's River North neighborhood.
