NEW YORK CITY–Patrick Dugan, formerly a broker at CBRE, has joined Cushman & Wakefield as a director of brokerage, New York City offices.

He will play a central role in managing approximately 180 brokers in the company's Midtown and Downtown offices, with direct management responsibility for approximately 50 brokers. He reports to Ron Lo Russo, president, NY tri-state region and Suzy Reingold, COO, NY tri-state region, is based in the firm's world headquarters office in Midtown Manhattan.

With a specific focus on the Lower Manhattan, Midtown South and Brooklyn markets, Dugan served as a leasing agent with CBRE for nearly two million square feet of office space. In addition to extensive landlord representation, he also advised a variety of corporations and developed specialized expertise in managing complex transactions.

Prominent clients have included Vornado Realty Trust, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, Madison Capital, the Bank of Japan, Beyer Blinder Belle, IBM Corp., Nationwide Insurance and the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Conservancy.

Dugan's primary duties as director of brokerage include strategic planning, business generation, recruitment and retention, broker training, pipeline management and performance reviews. He also is coordinating with Cushman & Wakefield's information technology unit to ensure that all information systems efficiently support the needs of both management and brokers.

A licensed associate broker in New York State, Patrick Dugan earned CBRE's "Rookie of the Year" designation for Downtown Manhattan in 2005. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
