Coco Palms Restoration Plans Fleshed Out

WAILUA, HI-A shuttle will connect resort to cross highway restaurant, and all bungalows will be restored.

WAILUA, HI-The developers of the Coco Palms Hui, restoration have revealed more of the plans for the project. Principals Chad Waters and Tyler Greene met with a local business association this week and said the plans call for restoring four hotel restaurants around the resort, including the Seashell Restaurant separated from the hotel’s main location by Kuhio Highway, according to a local media report.

The Honolulu-based investment group also hopes to restore all the bungalows and redevelope the 363 hotel rooms on the property, which which has been dormant since Hurricane Iniki damaged the island on Sept. 11, 1992.
